BUSINESSES AND APARTMENT BUILDINGS
EV charging for businesses and apartment buildings
Our own team designs and installs charging infrastructure in Girona and Barcelona. We distinguish the requirements of apartment buildings from those of business car parks and fleets.
Tailored to your setting
Apartment buildings
We prepare infrastructure so each user can have a charging point within an organised, scalable installation.
Businesses
Solutions for business car parks, employees, customers and service vehicles.
Fleets
Infrastructure designed to manage charging for multiple vehicles according to usage requirements.
Power management and additional charging points
Well-planned infrastructure can make it easier to add charging points without redesigning the entire installation, within the capacity planned for the project.
Electrical distribution
We specify cable routes, circuits and protective devices for the car park.
Power and charging management
We assess available power and how to distribute it between the planned charging points.
Planning future charging points
We plan potential extensions according to the space, capacity and project requirements.
SHARED CHARGING MANAGEMENT
Managing power across multiple chargers
Available power can be shared or adjusted across multiple charging points. We specify management according to vehicles, operating hours and the characteristics of the installation and equipment.
- Make use of available power.
- Help prevent overloads.
- Adjust charging to the installation’s limits.
- Support extensions planned from the outset.
Charging infrastructure for apartment buildings
An individual parking space and shared infrastructure have different requirements. We assess containment, routes through the car park and expected future users.
For an individual parking space, we review the cable route and power supply. For shared infrastructure, we plan containment, power management and future extensions, coordinating with the building manager or owners’ representative where appropriate.
If consumption needs to be recorded by charging point or user, we assess suitable equipment and metering. Recording and any allocation of consumption depend on the specific solution; no billing system is assumed.
Let’s discuss your apartment buildingCharging for businesses and fleets
We plan charging for multiple vehicles, taking account of operating schedules and parking time.
We specify multiple charging points with power management and planned extensions. We assess AC charging or rapid DC charging (in Catalan) depending on vehicles, operating hours and available charging time. For businesses with parking, Plugnetic, a trading brand of ELECTRISPOT SOLUTIONS S.L.U., offers options with customer-funded investment (in Catalan) or no upfront investment (in Catalan), subject to feasibility and agreed conditions. Electrispot continues to carry out the technical installation.
Let’s discuss your business or fleetPreparing the installation assessment
For an apartment building, we need to know the parking spaces involved, existing infrastructure and expected future users. The building manager or owners’ representative can provide information about the car park and coordinate access where appropriate.
For a business or fleet, we review vehicle numbers and types, schedules, parking time, planned charging points and available power. This information defines the initial scope and possible future extensions.
Installation by our own team
Our technical team carries out installation, configuration and checks, maintaining control of the project from start to finish.
Questions about shared installations
How many charging points can we install?
It depends on available power, the car park layout and charging requirements. The initial assessment determines an appropriate number of charging points for the project.
Can the installation be extended later?
An extension can be planned from the outset. Final capacity will depend on space, circuits, available power and installed equipment.
How is power shared across multiple chargers?
Charging management can adjust the power allocated to each point according to the project’s limits and criteria. Options depend on the equipment and system selected.
Can an apartment building prepare infrastructure before all residents have electric vehicles?
Infrastructure can be assessed with future users in mind, adding charging points in phases according to the car park and project requirements.
Can different users be managed?
This is possible with suitable equipment and systems. Access and management requirements must be defined before selecting the solution.
Are regulatory procedures required for a multi-point installation?
We specify the documentation and procedures applicable to the project, together with checks before commissioning.
Can each charger’s consumption be monitored?
It depends on the equipment’s features and the metering or management system. If you need data by charging point or user, we take this into account when defining the project.
What is the difference between an individual space and shared infrastructure?
An individual installation serves one specific parking space. Shared infrastructure plans common elements and the addition of multiple users. Power supply, management and extensions are defined for the car park.
What information should the building manager provide?
The spaces involved, expected future users and available information about cable containment and electrical infrastructure. Access to the car park for the assessment also needs arranging.
What information should a business or fleet manager provide?
Vehicle numbers and types, schedules, parking time, planned spaces and available power. Any consumption monitoring or user identification requirements should be specified from the outset.
